This article examines the role of agricultural enterprises in the
national economy, their economic nature and modern classification principles.
Also, the specific characteristics of the activities of agricultural enterprises,
which differ from other sectors, the use of land resources and the impact of
biological factors on production efficiency are scientifically substantiated.
