This article analyzes the economic causes of labor migration and
the role of small business and private entrepreneurship in reducing migration
flows. The study scientifically examines the importance of small businesses in
ensuring employment, creating new jobs, increasing household incomes, and
accelerating regional economic development. In addition, the impact of reforms
aimed at supporting small businesses in Uzbekistan on migration processes is
considered. The research findings demonstrate that the development of small
business is one of the key economic tools for reducing labor migration.
