Abstract

This scientific article analyzes modern operational models of
Startup Support Centers (SSCs), their evolution, and effectiveness criteria. The
author examines the experience of leading global startup ecosystems, including
MIT Sloan, Germany’s UnternehmerTUM, France, the Republic of Korea, and
India, as well as the state programs, legal framework, and practices related to the
development of innovation infrastructure in Uzbekistan. The article
substantiates the necessity of transitioning from traditional incubation models to
advanced “Business Catalyst” and “Venture Studio” (“co-creation partner”)
models. Based on a comparative analysis of the activities of existing centers and
Uzbekistan’s strategic goals (attracting $2 billion in venture investment by
2030), recommendations for the development of the national startup ecosystem
are proposed.
