ПОВЫШЕНИЕ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЙ ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТИ ПРЕДПРИЯТИЙ ПРОИЗВОДСТВА ОДЕЖДЫ В РЕСПУБЛИКЕ УЗБЕКИСТАН

The article examines the issues of increasing the economic efficiency of
enterprises in the garment industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of economic
modernization and the development of export potential. The main factors influencing the
efficiency of clothing production are analyzed, including labor productivity, production capacity
utilization, cost management and the introduction of modern technologies. The paper presents
the results of an empirical study of twelve sewing enterprises of various sizes located in Tashkent,
Tashkent, Ferghana and Samarkand regions. A comprehensive analysis of their financial and
economic indicators has been carried out, taking into account the specifics of the Uzbek light
industry. Practical recommendations for optimizing production processes have been developed,
including the introduction of computer-aided design systems, lean manufacturing and modern
quality management methods, taking into account the requirements of international customers.
The results of the study show that an integrated approach to production modernization makes it
possible to increase the profitability of enterprises by 20-28% within two years and increase
export potential. The proposed methodology for evaluating effectiveness can be used by the
heads of garment enterprises in Uzbekistan to make managerial decisions and plan a
development strategy within the framework of the implementation of the national strategy for the
development of the light industry.
