disabilities, particularly the blind and visually impaired, highlighting their role in achieving full participation in society. It examines Germany’s experience through the activities of the German
Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted (DBSV), which focuses on ensuring equality,
accessibility, and empowerment for such individuals.
