This article analyzes the role of Information Technology and digital
transformation in modern banking activities. Digital changes in the banking industry, the
introduction of innovative technologies and the transformation of customer relations are
considered. Based on the analysis of the literature, digitization has been found to affect all aspects
of banking and increase the effectiveness of banking services. The current state, trends and
prospects of digital transformation in the banking system of Uzbekistan are also discussed. The
article also examines the advantages and risks of digital technologies, as well as the future
development directions of the banking sector.
