Abstract

This article analyzes the methods used in searching for the texts of archival
documents, including keyword, filtering-based, and semantic search methods. The possibilities of
each approach for use in archival information systems are assessed. In particular, special
attention is paid to the advantages of semantic search based on artificial intelligence and natural
language processing in providing semantically consistent results.
