Abstract

Along with the development of modern information security, threats to
information security are also increasing. Traditional methods of detecting malware are becoming
ineffective in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Therefore, machine learning
(ML) methods are gaining importance in the process of detecting and preventing malware. This
article reviews the role and prospects of machine learning technologies in detecting malware.
