Groundwater is an important source for water supply,
irrigation, and energy sectors. However, effective management of these
resources requires solving complex problems. This article focuses on the issue of
modeling the movement of the groundwater hydrosphere using artificial
intelligence (AI) technologies. The article examines the application of machine
learning algorithms, deep learning methods, and the involvement of neural
networks for predicting the movement of water between layers. The research
results show that AI-based models provide 15–25% more accurate results
compared to traditional mathematical models and reduce computation time by
3–5 times.
