This article analyzes the interrelationship between the state’s
external debt and financial stability. The study examines the impact of external
debt on economic growth, the sustainability thresholds of the debt burden,
international experiences (including examples from developing countries), and
the current state of external debt management in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The
article puts forward key ways to ensure financial stability, such as improving the
debt strategy, developing domestic financial markets, increasing export
potential, introducing debt risk management mechanisms, and strengthening
cooperation with international financial institutions. The research results are of
practical importance in shaping state financial policy and contribute to ensuring
sustainable economic development.
