СОКРАЩЕНИЕ НЕРАВЕНСТВА ДОХОДОВ И БЕДНОСТИ В УЗБЕКИСТАНЕ

Abstract

In the context of the ongoing socio-economic reforms in the Republic of
Uzbekistan, the problem of income inequality and poverty remains relevant and requires
comprehensive analysis. The aim of this project work is to study modern trends in the field of
income inequality and poverty, to identify the key factors of their formation, as well as to develop
effective mechanisms for their reduction. The work applies methods of comparative and statistical
analysis, a systematic approach, and elements of sociological research. The empirical base consists
of data from the State Committee on Statistics, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and
other sources. The results of the study show that despite economic growth, regional and social
disparities in income levels persist in the country. The main causes of poverty remain limited
access to quality services and insufficient effectiveness of social policy. As recommendations,
measures are proposed to develop entrepreneurship, improve the targeting of social support,
reform the tax system, and strengthen investment in human capital and infrastructure. The
conclusions obtained can be used in the development of social policy programs.
