In the context of the rapid development of Uzbekistan-China economic relations
and the increase in the number of joint ventures, the study of the application of the philosophical
principles of Confucianism in corporate governance is of particular practical importance for
Uzbekistan. The study uses a comparative analysis of the evolution of corporate governance in
China and Uzbekistan, examines the historical, cultural and institutional aspects of the formation
of hybrid management models in both countries. The structural similarity of the corporate systems
of China and Uzbekistan, based on a common hybrid model that combines formal market
institutions with the dominant role of the state, has been revealed. The article presents a high
degree of compatibility of Confucian principles (hierarchy, harmony, trust) with the national
cultural traditions of Uzbekistan. This similarity of the institutional environment creates
competitive advantages for Uzbekistan-China business partnership. The research results can be
used to develop educational programs in corporate governance, adapt the best practices of the
Chinese management model and optimize the operation of joint ventures.
