This article examines cybersecurity threats in the modern digital environment
and methods for eliminating them. The article examines the main cyber threats such as phishing,
malware, DDoS attacks, social engineering, zero-day attacks and botnets. To ensure cybersecurity,
important protection mechanisms such as cryptography, network security, identification and
authentication, IDS/IPS systems, data backup and cyber hygiene are analyzed. The role of modern
cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and artificial intelligence technologies in ensuring
cybersecurity is shown. Information is also provided about the reforms and legislative framework
being implemented in the field of cybersecurity in Uzbekistan. It is emphasized that ensuring
information security is a complex issue that requires not only technological, but also social and
legal approaches.
