This research work is devoted to the issue of reducing noise in speech signals, in
which the idea of dividing a noisy speech signal into segments and applying pairs of noise
reduction filters to them is presented. In this case, the goal is to obtain a high-quality speech signal
compared to the incoming noisy speech signal by combining the filtered segments. In the work, the
filters were selected based on a literature analysis and the pairs formed with their help were
applied to all segments of the speech signal. In the study, tests were conducted at different levels
of noise and the PESQ (Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality) indicator was used to determine
the optimal one among the filter pairs.
