Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of empathic robots that have the ability to
understand and respond to human needs, and analyzes the process of creating a model of
empathic robots. Typically, such robots have the ability to react by determining the emotional
state of a person through words and gestures. The study studies the processes of creating a
model of empathic robots based on technologies such as natural language processing, emotion
recognition, analysis of simultaneous understanding of information from text or speech, and
machine learning. It also describes the introduction of empathic robots into the fields of
medicine, education, and service, and highlights scientific and ethical issues in this area.
