In the context of intensifying climate change, resource scarcity, and widening
disparities in regional development, improving the mechanism for supporting the use of green
technologies to ensure sustainable economic growth in regions has become an urgent scientific
and practical issue. The purpose of this study is to develop an institutional and economic
mechanism that accelerates regional green transformation based on a comparative analysis of the
most relevant foreign and Russian scholarly works, together with the regulatory documents of the
Republic of Uzbekistan. The study employs systematic literature review, comparative analysis,
synthesis, and conceptual modeling. The findings show that green technologies influence
sustainable economic growth not directly, but through institutional quality, green finance,
innovation capacity, demand-stimulation instruments, and the monitoring system. As a result, a
six-link mechanism was proposed that takes regional differentiation into account and integrates
financing, project portfolio, infrastructure, competencies, demand, and feedback. This approach may serve as a methodological basis for improving regional development programs and increasing the effectiveness of management decisions in Uzbekistan.
