This scientific article analyzes the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) and innovative pedagogical methods in
teaching the subject "The Contemporary History of Uzbekistan" within the higher education system. Based on the IMRAD structure, the paper explores the theoretical foundations of digitalizing historical education and highlights the advantages of utilizing multimedia tools, virtual reality (VR), and elements of artificial intelligence in the classroom. The research findings demonstrate that an innovative approach significantly enhances students' cognitive engagement.
