This article analyzes the process of digital transformation in the higher
education system of Uzbekistan. It explores the integration of digital technologies into the
education system, digital changes in modern curricula, and their effectiveness. The research
focuses on increasing digital literacy, the development of distance learning, and the importance of
electronic textbooks and interactive materials. Legal foundations of digital transformation in
Uzbekistan and international experiences are also discussed. Furthermore, the article addresses
existing problems such as insufficient technical infrastructure and the lack of digital materials.
New strategies and recommendations are proposed to accelerate the digitization of the higher
education system.
