The article considers the issues of modeling digital transformation processes in
social systems. The analysis and management of complex social systems is based on the effective
use of the IDEF methodology, in particular the IDEF0 and IDEF1X models. In the modeling process,
the functional structure of systems, the relationships between processes and data, and methods of
their visual representation are analyzed. The practical application of IDEF models is shown on the
example of the social protection system.
